CFC-based refrigerants have already begun phasing out since 2005. It has become extremely critical to change the refrigerant R-11 in your airconditioning system. After signing the Montreal Protocol, India has to phase out all CFCs by 2010. So, in the coming years, not only will their availability be seriously affected, but the prices will also escalate.
